Chapter 7: Taking Care of the Remaining Details. Blackjack and craps are a bit tougher. Blackjack takes some thought. Craps seems very complex, though less so than it seems. With all table games, there some intimidation of interacting with other people and knowing the etiquette of how to play. But you'll figure it out quickly. Video poker has a much better edge than slots and is also just you and a machine. But you have to learn the strategy for the game and learn how to find a machine with a good pay table.
Almost all casinos have lessons, usually mid-morning. They will help with procedures and etiquette, but not with strategies if relevant or the house edge. You should decide what games you might like to learn how to play, pick a couple and learn how to play them before you go on a website like wizardofodds. They do offer "lessons" on some of the games in some of the casinos, but honestly, you can not learn how to play by doing that.
They will probably just scare you away, or leave you totally confused. The best games in terms of "lowest house advantage" are craps and blackjack. I suggest you look at those and see if they look like fun, the study them before you go. For blackjack, you want to learn what is called "basic strategy. The good news is you can take a copy of a cheat sheet with you to the table and refer to it. You still want to have a general understanding of basic strategy before you go so you don't slow things down too much.

People at the table, including the dealers, will help you if you get stuck. Learn how to make place bets and "take the odds" and come bets and "take the odds. You will be amazed what a simple little game this is once you learn how to play it. The only other bet on the craps table you want is what is called a "place bet" and only make that on the points of 6 and 8. Ignore all the rest.

The "odds bet" on the craps table is the only bet anywhere in Las Vegas that the house has absolutely no advantage, so that's why you want to learn that. So, take a look at those and come back if you have more questions. There are lots of threads on here about craps, but ignore any bets other than the ones I have described for you here.
We were all beginners at some point. Pick a game, learn it online and go for it.

If you let the dealer and players know its your first time they will help you with the actual table etiquette. If they don't they are jags and you can ignore them. I see your in Manchester, casino by deansgate do learn to play packages. We took some friends before first trip to Vegas and they loved it. We're going to Vegas Sunday and they feel a lot more confident now A little off topic, but you mention booking with Virgin Holidays.
IMHO they are an expensive option.

They only deal with Independent Travel Agents they don't deal direct with public. They have great prices and are exceptional if something goes wrong ash cloud in my situation. You shouldn't worry about this, some who have been gambling for years are still idiots when it comes to gambling or they would be playing the best games percentage wise in there favor. Is this pathetically small". Of course its pathetically small, on a dollar slot machine playing max coin that would last about 10 Min.
If you were to play penny slots and play, say, 15 lines at a penny a line, it would last quite a while. The edge would grind away at you and you're pretty much guaranteed to just watch your bankroll trend down, but you would last quite a while. Quarter VP played one coin at a time would also last quite a while. With any game, luck is a big factor. A losing streak will wipe you out quickly. Costco if you are not a member, look at their website travel deals and consider joining.
You also are probably too late to get the non-Oahu, natural, isolated trip you desire within your price range, unless you are willing to spend hours researching. If you want to go to Las Vegas , go to Las Vegas, but don't try to think you can cram in a Las Vegas trip and a Hawaii trip with that budget in February.
Ironically, the most uniquely Hawaiian experience is probably staying on Waikiki Beach. The flight route to Las Vegas and then to Hawaii is a good one - if you can get a cheap flight to Las Vegas and then pick up a Hawaiian Airlines flight to Hawaii. Sure, you could go up on Expedia.. Which Islands in the winter? Which side of the Island? And there is a good chance that cars are sold out for some days on some Islands.
I didnt say that i will spend a vacation in las Vegas. Rather than a direct filght i saw that the flight from LV to Hwaii is cheaper.
